immune system related illnesses.
Also specializing in performance enhancement with athletes, her clients have won world and national championships
and Olympic medals. She works with professionals who are in high stress jobs and lifestyles to help them improve their health. Her clients have been
fortune 500 company presidents. She hosted a radio show out of Phoenix and Massachusetts and Rhode Island areas called “Optimal Health with Dr.

BIOCHEMICAL RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

Conducted biochemical research on kidney disease. Specialized
in etiology and treatment of kidney stone formation. Developed a new, ultra-sensitive method for detecting kidney enzyme precursors.
Research Faculty: Department of Orthopedic Surgery, V.A. Medical Center, Gainesville, Florida, November 1984-May 1986.
Independently set up a biochemical laboratory for bone cancer research. Conducted various biochemical procedures to isolate and characterize a
tumor-related antigen in the blood of bone cancer patients. Won Outstanding Performance Award for establishing this biochemical laboratory.
Senior Biologist: Department of Pathology, J.H. Miller Health Science Center, University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida, July 1981-
November 1984.
Conducted biochemical research on the immune response gene in the major histocompatibility complex. Determined peptide
sequence of the A-alpha, A-beta, E-alpha, and E-beta molecules. Also, performed tryptic peptide mapping studies of these molecules by high pressure liquid
chromatography.
Senior Biologist: Department of Pathology, J.H. Miller Health Science Center, University of Florida,
Gainesville, Florida, June 1979-July 1981.
Conducted kidney transplant research: studied the relationship
of blood transfusions to kidney rejection in renal patients. Developed anti-thymocyte serum to reduce kidney rejection in patients. Research also consisted
of quantitation of plasma cells by fluorescence activated cell sorter and determination of immunoglobulin on leukocytes by radioimmunoassay.

Initiated and established the pediatric gastroenterology laboratory. Investigated the effects of alpha-fetoprotein
on liver disease in neonates and designed a new liver cell tissue culture technique.
